This is a callout to all the creative folks out there! The second CDH weekend commenced between the 14th–16th of August and it was a series of surprises for everyone! From the eclectic assortment of people who participated to the diversity of creative work done, the “project weekend” was truly something that worked our minds in the most constructive way possible. From entrepreneurs to educators to photographers, the sheer variety of people participating and contributing creatively was fabulous. Some of the creators we met have been shown below.

The 14th began with an ice-breaker session where all the participants introduced themselves. Post that was a quick collaboration session where the participants would call each other and figure out ways to collaborate. The beauty of this was that we didn’t have any idea what so ever about what two people would actually come up with, creatively. What would happen when a poet crosses an artist? Or a photographer crosses an educator? You never know, but in one word it is truly “magical”. The power of one plus one definitely builds up to more than the sum when it comes to collaborations.

The next morning started with a motivating meditation session that allowed everyone to prepare themselves for the two days ahead. The next two days were packed with expert sessions from all the participants. The beauty of CDH is that all the collaborators and creators who participate bring something to the table- their expertise, their outlook, and their experience.

Below are some of the projects done during the CDH weekend:

Looking deeper into a few of the projects done:

A prototype of an app was created to make poetry writing easier for those who were suffering from writer’s block or those who were beginners at writing poetry.

Artistic collaborations involving mixed media artwork and journaling were done.

Storytelling collaborations involving illustrations for short stories for children.

Portuguese craft making for an online store.

Content creation for a multitude of blogs online that needed the right kind of writing and promotion.

Musical collaborations involving songwriting and tuning.

Meditation apps involving art and design

The two days encompassed many workshops which gave us a fantastic idea about a range of topics. This gave us all a better idea of how to collaborate and work deeply with each other. Some interesting workshops that were taken were:

Joel took us through a quick journey on how to write poetry. Reworking on existing poetry was the main point focused on as well as understanding reciting tactics.

Group discussion on personal branding which questioned our addition of followers on Instagram and its value.

An art therapy session with Simran that brought out the child in us.

A session on content development by Divya talking about professional creative content development for all age groups on platforms like Udemy, Skillshare, and Domestika.

And many more…

All in all, the creative outputs were quite diverse and continuously change every CDH. It is a weekend one should not miss! You never know, you might collaborate amazingly well with someone and they might end up becoming your co-founder! You never know where these connections and creative collaborations will take you long term. 48 hours can do a lot when it comes to long term collaborations, friendships, and businesses that could rocket sky-high! As we all know, the sky is the limit when it comes to ideas and every idea is worth a shot! Cheers to more such weekends!
